Peyton Kennedy, Kip Pardue, Gavin Macintosh, Rusty Schwimmer, Marci Miller and Zuleikha Robinson will star in the fairytale thriller.

Indie film American Fable has cast young actress Peyton Kennedy to star along with Kip Pardue(Remember the Titans), Gavin Macintosh (The Fosters), Rusty Schwimmer (The Informant!,The Perfect Storm), Marci Miller and Zuleikha Robinson (Homeland, Lost).

Anne Hamilton, who recently participated in AFI’s Directing Workshop for Women, will make her directorial debut with the fairytale thriller. The story centers on a young girl (Kennedy) who discovers her father is holding a wealthy man captive on their remote farm. She then must dive into a dangerous world in order to find out who he is and why he is there.

"The 1980s farming crisis is an under-known and truly consequential period of our country's history, and Anne Hamilton is the ideal auteur to capture it in this unique, highly-stylized way," says producer Kishori Rajan. "Working with this talented cast and crew, and earning the strong local support of the people in Stockton and Kent, Illinois has been deeply gratifying."

The film, which is now in production, is executive produced by Kevin Harrington.

Kennedy, whose credits include Atom Egoyan's The Captive and indie Cut Bank, is repped by Paradigm Talent Agency, Station 3 Entertainment and Patterson Talent Management.

Pardue is repped by Don Buchwald & Associates and Main Title Entertainment. Macintosh is repped by Abrams Artists Agency and Leverage Management. Schwimmer is repped by Stewart Talent and Meghan Schumacher Management. Miller is reppedby The Talent House, LA. Robinson is repped by Gersh and Industry Entertainment.
